About Child Behaviour Research Clinic

The Child Behaviour Research Clinic (CBRC) is a research-based clinic committed to working alongside families to deliver evidence-based strategies to improve child and family mental health and wellbeing.

The CBRC was established in 2007 at the University of New South Wales and was re-located to the University of Sydney in 2015. As a research-based clinic, all of our interventions for families have been funded by research grants from external government and non-government organisations. Recently, our research projects have been funded by grants from the National Health and Medical Research Council (NHMRC), Australian Rotary Health, and the Movember Foundation. Other past research projects have been funded by Australian Research Council (ARC).

In addition to training the next generation of psychologists, the CBRC has an extensive history of supporting the education of both professionals and community members. We have facilitated workshops and presentations across a range of different national and international settings, including early childhood education, schools, P&C Committees, and clinical services. If you are interested in requesting a workshop, we would love to hear from you.
