Individual support with a clinician

The Child Behaviour Research Clinic offers treatment services to parents of children aged 2-years to 9-years and 11-months. We provide evidence-based parenting programs delivered by telehealth designed to improve child behaviour and promote positive parent-child interactions.

How can I start?

The Child Behaviour Research Clinic is a self-referral clinic. If you are interested in participating in any of our programs, please contact us directly to discuss your family’s eligibility and suitability for our clinic.

Online Self-directed parenting programs

Online self-directed parenting programs are programs that you can complete at your own pace.

ParentWorks

This is a freely available parenting program that is suitable for mothers and fathers and has been developed by the Child Behaviour Research Clinic. The program provides evidence-based parenting strategies and is suitable for families of children aged 2-17 years. The program consists of 5-8 online modules (20-30min duration), which you are free to work on at your own pace.

Please go to https://parentworks.org.au/ to find out more and participate.

Family Man

This program was developed in collaboration with Movember and is available and suitable for all parents and carers. This is a free, evidence-based parenting program designed to support parents to manage challenging behaviours (e.g. tantrums, non-compliance and aggression) whilst taking a team based approach. The program consists of three short episodes, all of which take about 1 hour to watch.

Please go to Family Man – Movember to find out more and participate.
